The weather in Gloucester distinctly changes with the season. December through March are subject to snowfall. Spring blossoms in April and lasts through May. June through August are summer-like with good beach weather. September through November are highlighted by foliage, Indian Summer weather, and gradually colder days.


We are America¹s oldest fishing port. Since 1623, Gloucester has been serving the world as a harvester of quality seafood. Conveniently located less than one hour from Boston, we are at the beginning of Route #128.

 

A coastal community of twenty six (square miles; we have miles of sandy beaches and rugged granite coastline. We have one of the largest natural harbors on the East Coast, including a cruise terminal and freight handling capacity.
